Philosophy

This intensive moisturizing cream is packed with nutrients and vitamins. It is lightweight and therefore spreads easily. The cream does not leave the skin feeling sticky or covered with a greasy film. A cutting edge gel-type base of the cream locks in moisture for longer and protects the skin from external stressors. A protective veil the cream forms on the skin surface soothes the skin and prevents irritation and inflammation.

The cream is a qualitatively new moisturizing formula, tactile properties of which make it completely different from other products.

α-gel

Alpha-gel is an innovative structural base, which allows to spread the cream more easily and facilitates absorption. α-gel is capable of retaining large amounts of moisture, so the cream exerts a long-term and intensive skin hydration effect as well as keeps the skin firm and glowing.

The cream does not contain mineral and animal oils, parabens, artificial colorants and other irritants. The product is hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin.

Scent

Kabosu is a bitter orange hybrid with a unique pleasant scent. Kabosu is grown in most regions in Oita prefecture, where you can sometimes even come across 300-year old kabosu trees. Oita covers more than 90% of the domestic kabosu production volume, and in other parts of Japan the fruit is regarded as a delicacy.

The scent of kabosu is more delicate than that of lemon or orange, it combines the freshness of citrus with a unique flower note. The scent is calming and has a light relaxing and stress-relieving effect.

Smoothing

Tests have demonstrated that visual characteristics of skin texture improved 30 minutes after the application.

Rosemary extract purifies pores, smooths rough skin patches and normalizes water balance, restores firmness and corrects uneven skin texture. The extract inhibits the decomposition and degradation of hyaluronic acid and collagen in the skin.

Pullulan is a plant-derived polysaccharide obtained by fermentation. It has a tightening effect, actively binds moisture, improves skin’s resilience thus helping the skin to better resist frost, sun and winds. Pullulan is used as a skin-lifting agent. It has both immediate and long-term effects, stimulates and strengthens skin collagen fibres.

Hydrolyzed collagen is a skin-penetrable marine collagen characterized by higher moisture retention properties. It has a structure similar to that of collagen found in the human body and therefore absorbs to the maximum extent possible. Compared to animal and plant collagen, marine collagen contains a large amount of important amino acids, penetrates the skin better and has higher moisturizing and rejuvenescent properties.

Moisturizing

The cream alters the content of moisture in the skin, making it twice as high as before application. This leads to a more even texture, removes dryness and rough patches and brings back natural glow of the skin.

Glyceryl glucoside has a protective and a rejuvenescent effect on the skin as it slows down the loss of elasticity. Also, it enhances the antioxidant activity of cells and stimulates the synthesis of aquaporin 3—a protein that functions as a channel transporting water and glycerine in the skin.

Hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid is a low-molecular form of hyaluronic acid. Unlike the usual form, the molecules of hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid are not washed off by water and penetrate deeper into the skin, where they continue to function even after the skin is cleansed again.

Hyaluronic acid with a long-term effect (sodium hyaluronate) facilitates the normalization of water balance by forming a moisturizing protective veil on the skin. The veil reduces transepidermal loss of moisture and actively absorbs water from the air, thus moisturizing and softening the skin surface as well as having a pronounced lifting effect.

Protection

A protective veil formed by the alpha-gel structure acts as a mechanical barrier protecting the skin from external irritants and supporting skin microbiome.

Glycosyl trehalose effectively fights protein glycation (attachment of a protein to glucose, oxidation and deterioration) that causes grey or yellowish skin tint and also keeps the moisturizing effect of hyaluronic acid in the cream for up to 48 hours.

Trehalose is a powerful antioxidant, it has a skin softening and stress-protective effect, works as a harmless preservative for other ingredients of the cream. Trehalose protects structural molecules of the skin, preventing their dry-out and deterioration. In extreme temperature conditions (both high and low) it acts like a cell-protecting shield and prevents the degradation of protein and cytoderm. This effect is used in medicine for the preservation of blood samples and internal organs for transplantation. In cosmetology, trehalose protects the skin from frost and heat, removes flakiness and redness.

Hydrogenated starch hydrolysate protects the skin from moisture loss and relieves irritation caused by aggressive surfactants, mechanical skin irritants, polluted air of the unfavorable ecological environment.

The cream contains five types of ceramides—components necessary to repair protective lipid barrier of the skin.

Ceramides are natural lipids, the main structural components of skin’s lipid barrier. Ceramides prevent transepidermal moisture loss and act as a barrier that works to protect the skin against the penetration of bacteria and impurities from outside. The level of ceramides in the stratum corneum of our skin decreases with age, and this is one of the reasons leading to a drier skin.

Arginine is an amino acid that controls microcirculation and barrier function of the skin. Arginine penetrates into deeper layers of the skin, eliminates protein decomposition products, which results in a better complexion. It regenerates and repairs the skin, heals minor injuries, tackles wrinkles. Removes pigmentation and leads to a faster healing of sunburns.

Firmness and Glow

Two types of collagen in the cream revert dull complexion and keep the skin “supple”.

Atelocollagen improves elasticity. The component contains 50% of elastoidin—one of the most effective types of collagen in today’s cosmetology. Atelocollagen is used for skin cultivation in medicine and cosmetology, it possesses powerful skin-regenerating properties. Atelocollagen is obtained by processing collagen with special enzymes, proteases, when the originally too large molecules are made smaller and their cell-penetrating properties are improved while physical and biochemical properties of the ingredient itself are kept almost intact, similar to those of the undissolved collagen fibres. Moreover, this type of processing is beneficial as it helps avert the risk of allergic reaction. Collagen in the cream works to make skin smooth and transparent as well as improves its texture.

Water-soluble collagen keeps the skin hydrated over a long period of time and improves its firmness.

Tocopherol (vitamin E) stimulates the synthesis of collagen and makes wrinkles less noticeable, prevents pigmentation, slows down age-related loosening of the skin. Tocopherol locks in moisture and tonifies the skin. It boosts tissue regeneration and prevents the formation of post-acne scars. Also, vitamin E helps strengthen capillary walls, thus improving the condition of couperose skin and reducing redness.

Anti-stress

Preventing irritation and redness, the cream has an overall soothing and anti-inflammatory effect. The product is recommended for sensitive and allergy-prone skin.

Dipotassium glycyrrhizate is a soothing and anti-inflammatory ingredient that has been successfully used in medicine to cure dermatitis. Relieves rashes caused by environment, including ultraviolet, as well as mechanical irritation (contact dermatitis), effectively protects the skin and prevents inflammation.

Lecithin is structurally similar to phospholipids in the cell membrane. Creating a protective film on the surface, it protects the skin from dryness. Lecithin has a pronounced effect on the cell nutrition and toxin elimination processes. Cell division and damaged cells regeneration are not possible without lecithin.

Licorice root extract has an anti-allergy and anti-inflammatory effect, prevents pigmented spots, quickly soothes the skin, the effect lasting over a long period of time. Also, it reduces redness, itching and flakiness.

Repair

The product normalizes natural skin regeneration processes that tend to slow down with age, due to the impact of negative environment as well as internal stressors.

Tremella Fuciformis polysaccharide is a naturally derived component with beneficial properties, significantly surpassing those of hyaluronic acid. It effectively moisturizes the skin, has anti-aging, moisture retention and anti-couperose properties.

Royal jelly extract has a light antibacterial effect and soothes the skin. It prevents the formation of pigmented spots and fine lines.

White water-lily flower extract soothes the skin, protecting it from external and internal stressors.

Phytosterols repair and protect the skin and work as anti-inflammatory, wound-healing and skin soothing agents.

How to Use

After cleansing, applying lotion and serum apply the cream on face and neck, spreading it from the center outwards.

The face cream is recommended for a daily skincare routine.
