Ultra Milk

An ultra-light product for skin protection and smoothing, 38 ml

Philosophy

Face milk is an intensive daytime skincare product with a pronounced skin-lifting effect. The milk absorbs immediately after application without leaving a sticky residue and at the same time deeply moisturizing even dehydrated and damaged skin.

The product provides an overall skin-smoothing effect based on three main principles: the tightening of pores, the “pushing out” of fine lines from within and the elimination of rough texture and flakiness.

The milk effectively protects the skin creating a soft moisturizing veil that makes your skin feel velvety to the touch. Also, the milk helps extend the duration of the effect of other intensive components for up to 12 hours. As a result, your skin is glowing and firm.

Effect

  • The milk provides an overall protection from dehydration and negative environment, immediately repairs skin’s natural barrier and supports it.
  • Deeply moisturizes the skin and prevents transepidermal moisture loss.
  • Corrects uneven texture, tightens the pores, prevents the formation of new mimic wrinkles and the deepening of the already existing creases.
  • Has a face oval lifting effect and, if applied regularly, restores and maintains skin’s elasticity and firmness.
  • Brings back a natural healthy glow of the skin, tackles uneven skin tone, lightens pigmentation and reduces redness.
  • Intensively smooths the skin to reveal its soft velvety feel.

The milk does not contain artificial colorants and other irritants. The product is hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive and dehydrated skin.

Scent

Kabosu is a bitter orange hybrid with a unique pleasant scent. Kabosu is grown in most regions in Oita prefecture, where you can sometimes even come across 300-year old kabosu trees. Oita covers more than 90% of the domestic kabosu production volume, and in other parts of Japan the fruit is regarded as a delicacy.

The scent of kabosu is more delicate than that of lemon or orange, it combines the freshness of citrus with a unique flower note. The scent is calming and has a light relaxing and stress-relieving effect.

Smoothing

The milk provides an overall skin-smoothing effect based on three main principles: the tightening of pores, the “pushing out” of fine lines from within and the elimination of rough texture and flakiness.

Niacinamide (vitamin B3) is an intracellular mediator that maintains intracellular junctions and fights aging. Niacinamide reduces the synthesis of melanin, thus preventing the formation of pigmented spots. The component corrects uneven skin tone and prevents wrinkles, improves skin elasticity, stimulates intracellular metabolism, the synthesis of lipids and free fatty acids, supports barrier function of the skin and possesses anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Rice bran oil softens and moisturizes the skin making it firmer, removes inflammation, prevents wrinkles and stimulates cell regeneration processes. The oil contains ferulic acid, the only antioxidant the activity of which is enhanced by ultraviolet irradiation, and gamma-oryzanol, an active ingredient that promotes skin repair and protects collagen fibres. Stimulates tissue regeneration, relieves irritation and leaves the skin silky smooth and matte. The oil is hypoallergenic, does not clog pores and, unlike the majority of cosmetic oils, can be used to treat the under-eye area.

Soybean extract is an anti-inflammatory agent that softens and moisturizes the skin, supporting its elasticity.

Tocopherol (vitamin E) stimulates the synthesis of collagen and makes wrinkles less noticeable, prevents pigmentation, slows down age-related loosening of the skin. Tocopherol locks in moisture and tonifies the skin. It boosts tissue regeneration and prevents the formation of post-acne scars. Also, vitamin E helps strengthen capillary walls, thus improving the condition of couperose skin and reducing redness.

Moisturizing

Providing an ultramoisturizing effect, the milk works to keep your skin healthy glowing and fresh throughout a long period of time. Also, it prevents dryness, the main reason of wrinkle formation.

Hyaluronic acid with a long-term effect (sodium hyaluronate) facilitates the normalization of water balance by forming a moisturizing protective veil on the skin. The veil reduces transepidermal loss of moisture and actively absorbs water from the air, thus moisturizing and softening the skin surface as well as having a pronounced lifting effect.

Squalane is a lipid that forms part of skin’s natural barrier. Squalane is produced by sebaceous glands and remains close to skin surface supporting its barrier function. The amount of squalane our body produces declines with age, with peak production occurring at the age of 23. By the age of 50 the amount of squalane in sebum normally does not exceed 5%. Squalane is a highly compatible component, it immediately penetrates the skin, making it softer and charging with moisture. It is particularly suitable for dry, cracked and peeling skin. Also, squalane helps prevent pigmentation (including the age-related one) and skin injuries caused by exposure to ultraviolet.

Sake sediment extract contains a large amount of vitamins, minerals and amino acids that supply the skin with necessary nutrients and stimulate its regeneration. Moreover, sake sediment extract corrects uneven skin tone: free linoleic acid and arbutin found in the extract lighten the complexion by suppressing the activity of tyrosinase ferment that causes skin pigmentation.

Hydrolyzed collagen has a structure similar to that of collagen found in the human body and therefore absorbs to the maximum extent possible. Compared to animal and plant collagen, marine collagen contains a large amount of important amino acids, penetrates the skin better and has higher moisturizing and rejuvenescent properties.

Repair

The milk enhances and supports natural skin regeneration and protection mechanisms that weaken with age.

Royal jelly extract supports skin immune system, repairs membranes, activates intracellular metabolism, improves elasticity of muscle fibers.

Glycosyl trehalose effectively fights protein glycation (attachment of a protein to glucose, oxidation and deterioration) that causes grey or yellowish skin tint, and also keeps the moisturizing effect of hyaluronic acid in the cream for up to 48 hours.

Apart from the other innovative components, the milk contains extracts that have been used for ages as traditional skincare ingredients.

White water-lily flower extract soothes the skin, protecting it from external and internal stressors, helps relieve inflammation, promotes regeneration. The extract tackles first signs of aging and smooths the skin.

Fermented sake extract removes dullness and promotes ceramide production providing a long-lasting moisturizing effect. The component is rich in peptides and amino acids, promotes skin cycle regulation and boosts regeneration processes.

Protection

As a daytime skincare product, the milk is packed with antioxidants and active ingredients that prevent skin damage resulting from exposure to negative environment.

Dipotassium glycyrrhizate is a licorice root-derived ingredient that has been successfully used in dermatology to cure acute and chronic dermatitis, including in children. Immediately soothes irritated skin, prevents the development of new conditions, protects from cold urticaria. The component is capable of restoring sunburnt and weather-beaten skin, it removes redness and flakiness. Prevents inflammation and supports healing processes in the inflamed skin.

Hydrogenated starch hydrolysate protects the skin from moisture loss and relieves irritation caused by aggressive surfactants, mechanical skin irritants, polluted air of the unfavorable ecological environment.

Probiotics are micgroorganisms supporting skin health. They are beneficial for the immune system and create a natural antibacterial shield of the skin. When the number of protective microorganisms residing on the skin surface decreases, they are outcompeted by irritation- and inflammation-inducing pathogens. It is impossible to add live microorganisms to cosmetic formulas as such products will go bad immediately. So filtrates, probiotic particles fortifying skin’s immunity and promote turnover, are used instead.

Aspergillus ferment is used to produce sake and miso paste. In cosmetology, it is highly valued as a tone-correcting and a skin cell turnover-boosting ingredient.

Trehalose is an antioxidant that has a skin softening and stress-protective effect, works as a harmless preservative for other ingredients of the mask. Trehalose protects structural molecules of the skin, preventing their dry-out and deterioration. In extreme temperature conditions (both high and low) it acts like a cell-protecting shield and prevents the degradation of protein and cytoderm. Trehalose protects the skin from frost and heat, removes flakiness and redness.

Glyceryl glucoside has a protective effect on the skin as it enhances the antioxidant activity of cells and slows down the loss of skin elasticity. The ingredient soothes and rejuvenates the skin.

How to Use
